Blessing the Past, Embracing the Future: The Alchemy of Spiritual Detachment

Last night, I dreamed I was wandering a city not my own.
Stone pavements wound between towering, modern buildings of neon and steel.
There, I glimpsed an old friend (woman) transformed unrecognizable, passing by without acknowledgment.
She was taller, thinner, blonde and younger.
She didn't recognize me and walked to a modern building with neon windows and steel construction.
My own destination was a neoclassical building, both ancient and renewed.
Within its tall rooms, an older man around the age of 65 (and beyond) greeted me with words of praise for my Spiritual Work words I could not fully recall upon waking.
When I left that place, the city became a labyrinth.
