There is a curious phenomenon unfolding quietly in the digital age…
A strange intersection between spirituality and social media, where wisdom meets “Hi”…
and sometimes doesn’t quite recognize itself.
It begins innocently.
A message appears.
Simple.
Neutral.
He: “Hi.”
Nothing unusual… and yet, something already whispers beneath the surface.
Moments later, the next question arrives, predictable, almost scripted:
He: “Where are you from?”
You pause 🤔
Not because the question is wrong…but because something feels misaligned.
As if the words are not truly seeking you, but simply following a pattern.
You gently redirect:
Me: “Everything is in my bio.”
Silence.
Then, unexpectedly:
He: “What is bio?”

And just like that… the illusion begins to flicker.
The Rise of the Spiritual Persona
Soon after, the identity is revealed:
He: “I am a monk.” ⛩️🧘♂️
And continues...
He: “A Buddhist monk.” ⛩️🧘♂️
And for a brief moment, the energy shifts.
Because such words carry weight.
Presence.
Depth.
Or at least… they are meant to.
But something doesn’t resonate.
Because true spirituality does not introduce itself, it is felt.
It does not declare, it embodies.
And yet, within moments, the conversation takes a turn:
Me: “I am an old soul.”
Him: “You are in pain.”
A diagnosis… offered without connection.
A conclusion… formed without presence.
And suddenly, the Sacred Language of the Soul is no longer sacred.
It becomes a tool.
A shortcut.
A mask.
When Spirituality Becomes Performance
This is where the anomaly reveals itself.
There are those who adopt the appearance of spirituality, the titles, the phrases,
the identities without walking the path that gives them meaning.
They speak of Awakening, yet rush into conclusions.
They speak of Awareness, yet do not observe.
They speak of depth, yet remain at the surface.
And perhaps most revealing of all…they project.
He: “You are in pain.”
Me: "I am not in pain".
He: "Yes, you are because I didn't read your bio!"

But true Awareness does not assume.
It does not impose.
It does not need to be right.
It listens.
It senses.
It respects.
Discernment: The Quiet Power
In such moments, something within you becomes clear.
You do not argue.
You do not explain.
You do not try to awaken someone who is not ready to see.
You simply say:
Me: “Ok, bye bye.”
And you close the door.

Not from anger.
Not from ego.
But from clarity.
This is discernment.
The Humor Within the Truth
And yes… there is humor in all of this.

And not every messenger carries wisdom.
Sometimes… they just carry Wi-Fi and confidence.
A Gentle Reminder
True Spirituality is not a performance.
It is not a role we play in conversations.
It is not a strategy to connect, impress, or persuade.
It is a presence.
It is quiet.
It is aware.
It is respectful.
And above all…it recognizes the soul in front of it, without needing to define it.
And perhaps that is the real awakening:
To see clearly.
To feel deeply.
And to walk away… with grace.
